There are two kinds of stainless steel tees according to the appearance: they can be divided into T- and Y-types. The T-tie is a right-angle bend shunt, while the Y-tie is a shunt that merges two pipelines into one, thus the fluid resistance of the Y-tie is relatively small compared to the T-tie, and the Y-tie can be used in areas with strict requirements on flow rate to ensure the smooth flow of water.

 

 

Stainless steel tee has excellent characteristics such as high strength, good ductility and strong sanitary performance. Stainless steel tee hydraulic expansion process requires a large tonnage of equipment, the domestic mainly used for less than DN400 standard wall thickness of stainless steel tee manufacturing. Its applicable forming materials are low carbon steel, low alloy steel, stainless steel with relatively low tendency of cold hardening, including some non-ferrous materials, such as copper, aluminum, titanium, etc.
